PEI Coastal Experiences is owned and operated by John Martin and Eileen Conway-Martin of western PEI.
John & Eileen have lived, worked, and raised their family on “the Island” with O’Leary and Bideford PEI being their Island community bases.
John knows the “North Cape Coastal Region” well – being a native Islander. He has enjoyed involvements in many local industries and organizations. As a “farm tour guide” with the Canadian Potato Museum he has developed close relationships with local Islanders who work in all local sectors such as: potato farming, oyster fishing, restaurants, lobster fishing, museums, music, art, and culture. John was once a clam fisher in his younger years as well!
Eileen married into the Island – being a native of Boston, Massachusetts. Most of Eileen’s working experiences have been in Aboriginal communities where so many of her relationships continue. Eileen is a community developer and musician who enjoys bringing ideas together to make some very interesting things happen here on the Island. The Irish flute, banjo, guitar, mandolin, and the bodhran drum are Eileen’s instruments of choice!
Connecting you the visitor to our community and neighbors will give you experiences that are off the beaten road and rich with memories.
We are prepared for groups of all sizes from 2 to 50 !
